The Child and Teenage unit was created by psychiatrists and psychologists with ample experience in the treatment of psychopathological problems with children and teenagers (obsessive compulsive disorder, anxiety disorders, affective/mood disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorders (ADHD), and academic difficulties. We also treat environmental challenges such as bullying, mobile phone and other ICT related addictions, and disruptive behaviour, amongst others.
After a precise evaluation and diagnosis, we provide treatments that includes individual and family interventions. We work together with schools and families to implement strategies that will allow the child or teenager to restore a normal functioning after the crisis period.
We are experts in implementing mental healthcare assessment programmes in Schools and Universities. We have experience in implementing assessment programmes on new technologies addictions, bullying, identifying mood and anxiety disorders, and suicide prevention.
